A Certain Kind of Woman

I first purchased this top because I loved the color and thought that it would be very versatile in my wardrobe. Once it came, however, I was somewhat confused by it. It didn’t really feel like me; rather, it felt like it belonged to a certain kind of woman. She wears linen pants, and she wears this top to lounge around in while she’s on vacation or on a short trip to the seaside. She calls it a blouse and wears it on her day off. She’s in her 30s and she’s a writer, or she at least keeps a journal. Anyway, this blouse felt much more like someone else, and I had a little trouble styling it. I’m happy with how this outfit turned out, and I don’t really mind channeling such a woman for a day.
