The Parent Trap (1961) is one of my favorite movies. It’s visually inspiring and so adorable.  My sister, my bff, and I have the dream of opening a camp just like the one in the movie, including adorable uniforms, great vintage cabins, and a dance for which everyone wears ’50s party dresses, and we go about referring to ourselves as their “supreme commanders.” Doesn’t that sound great? Anyway, this outfit was an homage to their cute uniforms. Of course, I’d probably opt for Keds rather than wedges while in the woods.
